Merry Mayhem is a toy drive concert Matt organizes to get toys for underprivileged children in our community. We have local rock and metal bands perform, including Reform in Ruin, all of which are donating their time and talent for the cause. In order to get the toys we charge a $10 or a toy donation entrance fee at the door and hold a raffle throughout the night, consisting of items donated by the sponsors and the bands. If a sponsor contributes money towards our cause that would help pay for the sound engineer, venue rental, and promotion for the show. All additional money received that goes over the initial costs of the concert will go towards purchasing more toys.
Merry Mayhem has become quite a success over the years and the intent is to make it better every year.
The previous years toy hauls were as follows:
2023: $4800 worth of toys
2022: $4400 worth of toys
2021: $3000 worth of toys
2020: $2000 worth of toys (no concert due to covid)
